Top Play Ground Redesign
The Maroubra Bay top playground was redesigned and renovated in 2022, with the help of the P&C grants committee. The Grants Committee helps identify and apply for government and private grants that can help the school with the funding for big and small projects to enrich the school environment and expand learning opportunities.
Fundraising for Shade Sail
During 2023, our fundraising goal was to raise money to purchase shade sails for the newly renovated basketball courts. These sails will make this new area sun safe and enjoyable for students all year round.
This was achieved through various events including a raffle, a silent auction and a Trivia Night. Our fundraising efforts culminated in the fabulous Centenary Fete at the end of the year..
Shade Sail Installation
As a result of these fundraising initiatives, we were able to contribute $55,000 towards the shade sails , the installation process is still ongoing with go ahead on track for 2025.
